That same instinct – build it right, prove it works – was carried through every phase of the company since. Now operating across 10 locations and strengthened by the acquisitions of EastBanc Technologies and [Tooploox](https://tooploox.com/), the team includes world-class engineers and researchers who won a Best Paper Award at NeurIPS 2025. The scope has grown, but the standards have remained high. ## Key Milestones **2011** February 2011 **Solvd is born** Solvd was founded in Roseville, California, with a specialized focus on QA services and deep expertise in test automation, powered by our own open-source automation framework. **2014** April 2014 **Solvd.Laba launches** Motivated by a passion for education and industry growth, we launched Solvd.Laba, a free training initiative that helps aspiring students become IT professionals through hands-on instruction in QA, test automation and JavaScript. **2024** October **EastBanc Technologies is acquired** Solvd solidifies its role as a leader in AI and enterprise transformation with the acquisition of EastBanc Technologies. **2025** March **Solvd 2.0 is launched** Solvd marks a new phase in the company’s evolution, launching as a global leader in AI-first consulting and engineering. **2025** June **Tooploox is acquired** Solvd acquires Tooploox to deepen AI research and engineering capabilities, accelerating enterprise-scale AI transformation across industries. **2025** December **NeurIPS 2025 Best Paper Award** Research paper “1000 Layer Networks for Self-Supervised RL: Scaling Depth Can Enable New Goal-Reaching Capabilities”, co-authored by our Chief Scientist Tomasz Trzciński, [has been awarded Best Paper at NeurIPS 2025](https://blog.neurips.cc/2025/11/26/announcing-the-neurips-2025-best-paper-awards/) – one of the most prestigious AI and machine learning conferences in the world. ## Vision ### Responsible by design, not by disclaimer AI is completely changing how we work, how software is built and how businesses create value.
